about

From Mathieu Duval's 'My Record Collection' website:
'The opening track on Spraycan In Space (can someone explain the title for me - PLEASE!?) basically sounds like a very long intro. You feel like it's about to begin at any given moment, you just know it's gonna start right about here... no wait... wait... here it is... no... no... I thought it was here but, oh here we go, hold on... soon... [8 minutes ellipse] ... any minute now... aaaand... uhm... BOOM! THERE WE GO! What we have left now is two minutes of good ol' rawk at it's grittiest! Fans of the band at their free(jazz)st will love this track. Things don't gel much more on the second track (which I believe is simply Spraycan In Space Part 2), the mood is relatively similar, but the tune feels just this much more "out there". This is where all the cosmic references start making sense. The tune does go Ash Ra Tempel on us on a few occasions, but it's never long before we get sucked back into that sonic black hole which only Sunburned can generate.'
